Wisdom to seek Christ is Love.
Scripture Passage
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, wise men from the east arrived unexpectedly in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.”-Matthew 2:1-2
Message
Probably Chaldeans, the wise men (however many there were) knew the signs to look for when the new King would arrive. They would have studied the works of Daniel since he was held as chief of all wise men during captivity. This would have been how they knew of the Messiah’s coming. When they saw the Star show in the sky, they knew He had come and set out to meet Him. In their wisdom, they found Love for Christ.
We can also find Love when we seek Christ. God has given us signs to follow to find Him. We have people around us that share the Love of God, and we in turn must also share it with others. The wisdom to seek God’s Love is useless if we are unwilling to share it.
Take time to seek Him this season. And when you find Him; share His Love with others.
Prayer
Lord,
We ask for wisdom and guidance as we seek You Love. Give us a heart to share it with others. In the name of Jesus Christ.
