The First Advent of Christ brought Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.

Message

Over the last four weeks we have journeyed through the story of the First Advent. We have discovered Hope in the promises that God has made to us. We have experienced Peace in the fulfillment of those promises. We have been overcome with the Joy of sharing Jesus with others. We have learned that Love comes from God and God alone.

Jesus left Heaven for us; for you! He gave up glory for you! He came into this wretched world and suffered temptation just to bring those things to you! And all He asks for in return, is faith. Believe in Him! Trust in Him! Follow Him! He was born just to die…for you.

Prayer

Dear Lord and most Graciou Father,

Today we begin our celebration of Christmas. Help us to understand what being born here on earth really meant for Jesus. Help us to know that He came here for us, that He gave up everything to save us from ourselves and an eternity in hell, and that everytime we act against Him; against You; we hammer those nails deeper. Lord! Forgive us! Forgive everyone of our sins! Accept us as Your children! In the Holy name of Jesus.
