Life
Brother James Pardee has a BA in Anthropology from The University of Mississippi. He also has an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He has been an ordained minister through the National Association of Christian Ministers since 2015. Bro James lives in Belden, Mississippi, with his loving wife, Charissa, has two daughters, Addison and Lillyan, and a trio of puppies.
Bro James became a Christian at the age of 16. He began attending Antioch Free Will Baptist Church until he married Charissa in 2004. After that they attended Union Church of the Nazarene for most of their marriage. They were led by the Lord to move from what they consider their home church and have since attended various other churches in the area. In 2020 they returned to their home church and have since then started attending Union Nazarene Church.
Bro James has served as the youth leader and song director at Union Church of the Nazarene for many years. He has also served as Project Leader on a mission trip to the Navajo Indian Reservation in Gallup, New Mexico in 2010. Bro James served the Church of the Nazarene for one year, before following God to move on from the Church of the Nazarene. He spoke to various groups about the mercies of the Lord until God called him back to Old Union Church. Bro James took the pastoral role of Old Union Church in 2020. You can listen on his podcast.
Writing
Bro James’ first book; “Preparation for the Journey” released in July of 2018 and has become a blessing on his life. God has called Bro James to write! He has since released three more books in series with his first. His most recent publication is “A Study in Joshua” which combines his four previous books into one.
